Youth
Managed Resource Center (YMRC) Sankhu has started by community youth leaders
who are serving with community as a volunteer since 2004. YMRC Sankhu is a
community organization which is managed by community youths. YMRC Sankhu has
been register at CDO Reg. no: 1057/064/65 and Social Welfare Center (SWC) Reg.
no: 25402. YMRC Sankhu are doing different project which are based on
sustainable development and community development and awareness raising. YMRC
offers not only internet and computer services. IT also functions like a
community training center, a library, an information center, a place for youth
and women to gather to share their ideas and to make plans for the future. YMRC
will serve on various projects to rural community according to community desire
and demand. We introduce to us "We are village Ambassadors."
YMRC also complements community based initiatives such as sanitation projects, community development projects and community cleaning projects. Sankhu services 3 VDC's. There are typically 9 wards within a VDC and about 700 people per ward.
